ISLAMABAD:Additional Director General for the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Javed Bukhari informed the court on Thursday that contacts between Hamid Saeed Kazmi, Rao Shakeel and Ahmed Faiz have been established.
He also said that evidenceregarding State Minister Shugufta Jamanis involvement has also been found anda probe is underway to establish that.
A bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the Hajj corruption case today (Thursday).
Bukhari submitted a statement of Zain Sukhera, another suspect in the scam.
The Attorney Generalinformed the court that Javed Ali Shah has been appointed as Additional Director General FIA and will have absolute powers to conduct a thorough investigation.
Javed Ali Shah presented Zain Sukheras statement in the court who is known for his affiliation with Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilanis son, Qadir Gilani.
The chief justiceobserved that inquiriesare not being conducted properly because the government has hired contractual employees on key posts.
A listof nine contractualofficialswas also presented in the court.
